Worship At Hilltop
A primary focus of Hilltop's mission is the UPWARD connecting of people to God, and we believe crucial to living out that mission is our corporate celebration of God in worship.
Hilltop Worship Seeks to Blend:
Music: Traditional Hymns with Praise Songs
Preaching: A Fresh Look at the Ancient Faith
Forms: Old Rites Given New Meaning, New Forms Made Sacred
Ages: Nurturing Children and Challenging Adults
Bible and Life: Historical Texts Made Relevant to Today's World
John Wesley taught that the sacrament of communion is a "outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace". We share this means of grace the first Sunday of each month with some exceptions, and many additions.
Because the table at which we gather belongs to the Lord, it should be open to all who respond to Christ’s love, regardless of age or church membership. The Wesleyan tradition has always recognized that Holy Communion may be an occasion for the reception of converting, justifying, and sanctifying grace.
Children of all ages are welcomed to attend our worship services and each sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service a brief children's message is offered in worship. Also, activity kits are available in the blue bags near the sanctuary doors. Child care is provided in the nursery for children 5 and under. If you have other child care needs simply let us know and we will meet them so you can experience God in worship.
Children ages preschool and up are welcome to particpate in our 9:15 a.m. Kids' Kinection Sunday School.
